The Alumni Mentoring Program offers an opportunity for alumni and students of the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions to foster meaningful connections by providing crucial support to students preparing to enter the workforce of their chosen field while simultaneously strengthening bonds between alumni and the college. The AMP program is an active component to enhance the Caring Culture Initiative of the WE CARE Strategic Plan.

I am thrilled to lead the launch of COEHP’s new alumni mentoring program aimed at connecting students with our esteemed alumni and friends. Our goal is to create a meaningful impact on the career development journey of COEHP students.
Our approach is centered around fostering self-discovery and nurturing curiosity about various career paths. Through hands-on practice with professionals, we aim to provide invaluable experiences and insights. We want to empower students to navigate the world of work with confidence.
We believe in collaboration and look forward to working closely with members of our alumni and friends to help inspire, motivate, and empower our students as they learn how to build and articulate their experiences and skills effectively.
I invite you to join us on this exciting journey of exploration, practice, learning, and growth.
— Mary Keith, Director of Career Initiatives
