Our Alumni Mentoring Program offers three distinct commitment levels to accommodate the diverse schedules and preferences of our alumni and friends. We understand the importance of time and aim to provide options that cater to individual availability and interest levels. These flexible commitment options are designed to encourage engagement at a level that aligns best with your needs and availability.

1. Inspire

At the Inspire level, mentors and mentees participate in an intentional phone call or meeting (virtual or in person) anytime between September through April.

Make a meaningful impact with minimal commitment! Join our mentoring program where your sole commitment is just one meeting or phone call with a student. Your insights and guidance in this single interaction can spark inspiration and set someone on the path to success. Join us and make a difference, one conversation at a time!

2. Motivate

At the Motivate level, mentor and mentee hold one intentional phone call or meeting (virtual or in person) and collaboratively facilitate one or more career activities anytime between September through April.

Ready to take your mentoring journey to the next level? Start by engaging in a meeting or phone call with a student. As you grow more involved, consider stepping up to reviewing a mentee’s resume, attending a career fair together, or pairing with your mentee to participate in a professional development workshop. Career activities offer valuable insights to shape someone’s career path. Your progression in commitment paves the way for transformative guidance.

3. Empower

At the Empower level, mentor and mentee connect monthly through intentional texts, emails, phone calls, meetings (virtual or in person) and/ or facilitate career activities from September through April.

Want to fully immerse yourself in mentoring? Take the lead in our program by engaging in monthly contacts with a student, sharing invaluable resources, and actively participating in enriching activities. Your highest level of commitment ensures ongoing support, resource sharing, and active involvement that fuels lasting impact. Join us at the forefront of mentorship excellence and make a profound difference in shaping futures!

What Is a Career Activity?

The goal of a career activity is to empower your mentee in making informed decisions about their career path, enhancing their employability and achieving their professional aspiration.

It is an intentional and structured engagement designed to support your mentee in exploring, planning, and advancing their careers.
